Black Friday brings some of the best tech deals we see all year, which makes it one of the best times to expand your gaming setup on the cheap. And whether you're looking to upgrade to a new console, snag some accessories or just want to add some new games to your library, CNET is here to help you do it for less.

Below we've rounded up some of the best early deals already available on Nintendo Switch gaming gear. We're not seeing any straightforward discounts on consoles at the moment, but there are still plenty of savings to be had on bundles, games, controllers, headsets and tons of other accessories for Nintendo's nifty handheld. We'll continue to scout and collect the best Switch deals available through the holiday shopping season, so be sure to check this page often for the latest batch of offers.

We haven't seen any Black Friday discounts on Switch consoles yet, so this is an alternative way to save money by getting one of its best games, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ($60 value), and a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership ($20 value) thrown in for free. This is the upgraded 2021 model that arrives in a sleek white color with a 7-inch OLED screen, 64GB of storage, enhanced audio and lots of other quality-of-life improvements over the original launch model.

This bundle is also available with the standard Switch console for $300.

The Switch itself only has a 32GB storage capacity, so you'll want to pair it with a microSD card. This SanDisk card is designed specifically for the Switch, has a 256GB capacity and boasts read speeds up to 100 megabytes per second and write speeds up to 90MBps. Plus, it features a fun Mario-inspired design.

If you're not a fan of the standard Switch Joy-Cons, this PowerA controller is one of our favorite alternatives on the market right now. Along with having a decent battery life and a rechargeable battery built-in, it also has motion controls and special thumbsticks that prioritize comfort and control.

Considering that the Nintendo Switch first hit shelves all the way back in 2017, many gamers have been wondering if and when we'll see an updated version of this popular handheld console. Rumors of a Switch 2 have been swirling for a while and were recently inflamed by a potential image leak. Nintendo has yet to make an official announcement, but President Shuntaro Furukawa has stated that we'll be introduced to the Switch's successor before April 2025.

You won't find any discounts on Switch consoles or accessories at Nintendo's online store, but there are some excellent digital game deals available right now. And we expect to see even more popping up as we move further into the holiday shopping season.

You'll find plenty of deals on games and accessories at major retailers like Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy, as well as gaming-specific stores like GameStop. And you can always find a selection of digital games on sale at the Nintendo eShop.
