K70 Pro TKL: new Corsair keyboard with magnetic switches - Overclocking.com EN
Corsair is back with a new keyboard: the K70 Pro TKL. This new model benefits from a TKL format, with no numeric keypad. Above all, it features MGX magnetic switches and other functions aimed at PGMs on CoD!
With this keyboard, Corsair is offering us a reference in TKL format, with no numeric keypad. As you can see, it also has a wrist rest for added comfort… at least for those who like it.
But what really interests us are the technologies built into this model. Firstly, the brand has opted for its MGX magnetic switches. These can be used to determine the height of the emphasis point (0.1 mm to 4 mm). But that’s not all: depending on the pressure, different actions can be determined. For example, by simply touching a button, you can make your character walk, while he’ll start running when the pressure is fully applied. Likewise, with the Rapid Trigger , the keys will activate immediately, and then reactivate instantly when you press them again!
Alternatively, the keyboard has a built-in FlashTap function. Sometimes, in the heat of the action, we tend to press a lot of keys at once, pinning our character in place. This function will give priority to a key when several move keys are pressed simultaneously. You can then give priority to the first key pressed, the last or none at all.
Finally, we’d like to mention the soundproof construction of the keyboard, with two layers of soundproofing coupled with an aluminium plate. The keyboard also has a multifunction wheel and PBT or ABS keycaps.
The official price is €179.99 in ABS and €189.99 in PBT!
