The Big Branch Greenway Trail project includes the development of a new trail facility within the Big Branch Corridor of the Capital Area Greenway System. The project's limits extend from the existing Crabtree Creek Trail to Sandy Forks Road and are approximately 4 miles in length. The project includes a study of trail alignment options, feasibility, design, and construction. The project will provide access to high-density commercial and residential communities as well as connections to Eastgate Park and Cedar Hills Park.
