The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact ST&R.
Fitness devices – rescission of limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders issued in patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1265 of fitness devices, streaming components thereof, and systems containing same with respect to one respondent based on a settlement
Photovoltaic connectors – institution of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1365 of photovoltaic connectors and components thereof (complainant Shoals Technologies Group LLC; respondents located in Mexico, the Philippines, China, and the U.S.)
Power semiconductors – initial determination on violation in investigation 337-TA-1308 of power semiconductors and mobile devices and computers containing same and request for comments on public interest issues raised by recommended relief (including a limited exclusion order against certain power semiconductors with envelope tracking modules and products containing the same such as mobile devices, tablets, and laptop computers) if a violation is found
Storage systems – final initial determination of Section 337 violation in investigation 337-TA-1293 of automated put walls and automated storage and retrieval systems, associated vehicles, associated control software, and component parts thereof
