Nintendo Reveals New Switch Joy

Nintendo gamers will soon have more options as the Switch adds another set of fresh new color schemes for its Joy-Con controllers.

Nintendo has just unveiled new colors for its Joy-Con. The many innovative designs for the Switch's controllers have held a special place in collectors' hearts. Some fans enjoy being able to personalize their system with the multiple options, color schemes, and styles available. Not to mention, the small design allows gamers to store and carry the controllers easily and comfortably.

The Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers remain a heavy favorite of the Nintendo family because of their valuable features. They're sleek and flexible, working vertically and horizontally, attached or detached from the console. Plus, they're very easy to charge as well. Aesthetically, they look simple, but it feels so easy to find a design and style that works for each individual gamer. According to a tweet by Nintendo of America, new color options will be available for purchase soon, which will create more opportunities for players to customize their Switch even further.

New pastel-colored Switch Joy-Con controllers will be available for purchase on June 30. The four colors will come in two official sets. The first pair will be purple and green, while the second will be pink and yellow. As with other Joy-Con, these will be available for $80 and can be ordered directly from Nintendo. Per the tweet, this seems to be Nintendo's try at a summer-related accessory release.

The new colors are reminiscent of the old Animal Crossing: New Horizons bundle, especially with the green Joy-Con. The upcoming color designs would fit really well with the aforementioned Switch set, as the pastel colors are very soft on the eyes and offer a relaxing vibe similar to the New Horizons Joy-Con. That also actually contributes to why the Switch's controllers are collectors' favorites. The ability to mix and match from any set adds more options for when a Switch owner has a specific preference.

Nintendo Switch Joy-Con enthusiasts will have a field day once the new summer-inspired colors roll out in June. However, with the number of colors fans can purchase, the problem of Joy-Con drift still exists. Hopefully, the new controllers are less susceptible to this issue instead of being just recolors of the old technology. Regardless, those who just display these items will still be happy to own multiple pieces they can mix and match. These new sets will greatly increase the currently available Joy-Con combinations players can use for their gaming pleasure.
